Infants and toddlers need to learn through activities and experiences designed to help them practice new skills and gain the knowledge they need to prepare them for the next phase of their development. This is accomplished by creating situations that allow infants and toddlers to learn through play.
1. play provides pleasure to the player
2. play focuses more on the player's enjoyment of the process than the acquisition of some particular product.
3. play is voluntary and freely chosen by the player
4. play involves active engagement by the player
*The owner /operator will be utilizing Florida's Early Learning and Development Standards -Birth to Kindergarten as a guide for planning all activities.
